Getting Past Spam Filters

I was just asked why emails end up getting caught in Spam filters:

It of course depends on their email client and/or software they have to protect them from spam, but there are 2 key things to keep in mind.

Get users to add your email address to their “safe senders” list – this usually means simply adding us to their address book

Also most spam filters work on a points system, so  just one “spam phrase” probably won’t trigger rejection, unless its a very “bad” one .
